How to Access AED’s Construction Career Aptitude Test
BY AED Foundation
The Construction Career Aptitude Test from the AED Foundation offers a fast way to gauge student knowledge. How can your students take the test?
Since its launch, over 140 students have completed the Construction Career Aptitude Test. The test is 50 questions and free for students to take after registering for an account at aedflearning.org.
The test was created to encourage students ages 13-17 to consider a career in the equipment industry. After completion, students and instructors can review results, which show student strengths and weaknesses on industry topics like basic mathematics, measurement and mechanical reasoning. The test results also provide detailed benchmarking information so students can gauge how they compare to others in terms of industry knowledge and what they will need to improve upon to enter a career in the industry.
To take the test, first go to aedflearning.org and sign up using voucher code 6HN8894P. After creating an account, you can take the Construction Career Aptitude Test. For help creating an account, watch our instructional video.
