Celebrate our nation’s birthday with Staker Parson, patriotic producers
In honor of our nation’s 250th celebration, AsphaltPro Magazine is highlighting asphalt professionals who proudly display Old Glory. When Staker Parson, a CRH company, commissioned its Point West Hot Plant in Lehi, Utah, management not only affixed a flagpole atop the transfer conveyors for all to see, but they also painted their silos with the American flag, their company logo and the Utah state flag.

This 500-TPH Gencor plant was built on a new location to replace the aging Point East facility in Draper. It began service in October 2024, is RAP-capable and produces a variety of mix designs daily for both internal crews and external customer needs and specs. One of the noteworthy projects for which it provided asphalt is the Mountain View Corridor project in 2025, which a spokesperson for the company stated required 83,200 tons of high-specification UDOT mix.
