In honor of the United States of America’s 250th celebration, The Asphalt Pro is highlighting asphalt professionals who proudly display symbols of our nation. This refinery produces 307,000 barrels per day. It processes sweet and sour crude oils into gasoline, distillates, asphalt, natural gas liquids and petrochemicals, propane, and heavy fuel oil.
Marathon has a refinery-based asphalt production capacity of 143,000 barrels per calendar day throughout seven of its 13-refinery system and markets over 100 asphalt products at 27 locations throughout the United States. The customer base includes asphalt paving contractors and roofing shingle manufacturers.
