Stansteel/Hotmix Parts & Service Offers Look, Lock ’n Load Safety Loadout Truck Recognition System

Stansteel/Hotmix Parts & Service, Louisville, Kentucky, now offers the Look, Lock ’n Load safety loadout truck recognition system as part of its Gate-Keeper safety system for loadout. Using a smart computer, the system has what the manufacturer calls “computer vision” to mathematically use images to train its neural network. When a haul truck pulls up to the silos, the Look, Lock ’n Load system digitally scans an image of the incoming truck and differentiates between the truck’s cab and bed. The display for the operator indicates a red zone for the cab and a green zone for the loading bed.
