Stansteel Launches ACCU-pulse Dryer Monitoring System

New for 2026, Stansteel Hotmix Parts & Service, Louisville, Kentucky, has launched the ACCU-pulse featuring the patented dryer drift detection alert system. The alert system is a way to detect when the rotary dryer has gone too far uphill or downhill.

When a unit drifts too far, it will wear on the trunnions, bearings, gear boxes, tires and sometimes come loose and fall off the carrier rolls/trunnions. This situation can result in hours of uplanned downtime. The dryer drift detection alert system detects when the unit is drifting too far in either direction and alerts the plant operating personnel by text message, sounding an alarm, or calling a series of plant personnel on the cellular network.
