The Grade Sniper is a rugged, adjustable, curb-facing marking tool designed to make grade marking fast, accurate and highly visible on the job site. It’s built from CNC-cut 1/8-inch aluminum.
Instead of wasting time measuring, guessing and re-marking curb heights, the Grade Sniper lets you set your target reveal once and create consistent grade marks every time. Just adjust the height, apply marking paint and move down the curb. It’s ideal for crews preparing curb for stone grade, asphalt paving, and final elevation checks.
“The basic idea behind it is to give a fast and highly visible reference mark for curb reveal while paving or grading,” said Frank Fore. “The ‘red smudge’ you see in the picture is a paint mark sprayed through the Grade Sniper. You set your reveal—whether it’s 4, 6 or 8 inches—and when the tool is set on the curb or gutter, it places the crosshair exactly where your grade mark should be. This makes it much easier to see your mark from a distance or from the machine without constantly walking back and forth to check grade.
Typically, you’d mark it with a ruler and crayon, which means bending over constantly. The Grade Sniper is much quicker and a lot friendlier on your back.”
