Karen Hubacz, president and CEO of Bond Construction, Spencer, Massachusetts, is the first chairwoman of the NSSGA, accepting the gavel during the association’s annual membership meeting at the 2022 annual convention in Nashville in March.

Tracy Moore started in the asphalt industry in 1988 with Sloan Construction. Over the years, she’s gained experience with quality control/quality assurance (QC/QA) as well as equipment operation, and she’s learned not to take any guff from negative types.

Rena Deihl is now a plant operator for Duval Asphalt working among all three asphalt plants in Jacksonville and learning new aspects of the job that endears the industry to her more each day.
