This Father’s Day, DECKED is bringing back its Dad Time Off (DTO) program, aimed at helping hardworking fathers spend more time with their children without sacrificing a day’s pay.
According to a survey of more than 1,000 U.S. fathers commissioned by DECKED, 54% of dads have missed major life milestones because they couldn’t afford to lose wages. The survey also found that 65% of dads have missed important events with their children due to work, while 24% missed a child’s birthday party in the past year.
For the second consecutive year, DECKED will select 100 fathers across the United States to receive $500 each, reimbursing them for a full day’s wages so they can step away from work and be present for their families. Nominations are open through June 21 at decked.com/DTO.
The initiative is designed to support working dads, particularly those in blue-collar professions, who often face financial pressure when taking time off for family events.
