With a crowd reported at over 1,200 attendees, the 2024 Wirtgen Group Technology Days North America event held Nov. 11-12, at its CTT in Antioch, Tennessee, offered educational opportunities and product overviews for a variety of customers, dealers and media representatives. Members of AsphaltPro Magazine were once again impressed by the teaching facility The Wirtgen Group has created for customer and dealer training near Nashville. One of the highlights was a professional photo/video studio in the training center used to shoot video for training and marketing purposes.

While the morning micro-sessions were jam-packed with standing-room-only crowds, another area of interest during the 2024 event was the cold in-place recycling (CIR) presentation where attendees showed an appreciation for the reduced hauling costs and demands of the pavement maintenance methodology. Micro-sessions included the topics of wear parts, Vogele Intelligent Construction, Hamm tandem rollers and the Kleemann SPECTIVE CONNECT job site “configurator.”

Attendees were able to see 18 pieces of equipment in action during a live demonstration of milling and paving at the 2024 Wirtgen Technology Days.
Of course, the Wirtgen team gave attendees time to kick back and relax amid the education and information with a night on the town. The host treated everyone to an evening at Luke Combs’ new establishment, Category 10, where the group .38 Special performed.
