New Cat® CVA Services Commitment features Two-Day Repairs, or the customer gets paid
BY AsphaltPro Staff
Caterpillar has announced a significant upgrade to its Cat® Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), strengthening the support and value these agreements provide to customers. Beginning in the first quarter of 2026, all CVAs will include the opportunity to add a new Services Commitment, designed to reduce downtime and keep equipment moving.
The new Services Commitment includes two key benefits: a Two-Day Repair commitment and a Parts Next-Day commitment. For CVAs that include dealer labor, Caterpillar will guarantee common repairs are completed within two days. If the repair isn’t finished on time, the customer gets paid. Alongside this, the Parts Next-Day commitment ensures maintenance, wear, and repair parts will be available for pickup at the customer’s requested dealer location the next day.
“Our new Services Commitment program with a CVA is all about offering the customer hassle-free, peace-of-mind equipment ownership,” said Ebban Clause, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division. “Customers dealing with downtime need to act fast, and they need parts to get the equipment up and running quickly. Our new Services Commitment delivers just that – Two-Day Repairs, Parts Next-Day, or the customer gets paid.”
Designed to simplify equipment ownership, the enhanced CVAs provide access to key support tools including VisionLink™ and Cat Inspect for 24/7 equipment health insights. Customers also benefit from genuine Cat parts and fluids delivered for scheduled maintenance, expert dealer support, and customizable coverage options, including portability and transferability.
The global rollout of CVAs with the new Services Commitment begins in 2026 and will continue into 2027, subject to regional availability. Customers are encouraged to contact their local Cat dealer for full details, including eligibility, terms and conditions, and availability of major repairs coverage.
