Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award Deadline: 2/28

The Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award in Construction recognizes innovative evidence-based technologies, work practices, and programs (interventions) designed to reduce or eliminate construction hazards that lead to injuries and pain in the construction industry.

Sponsored by Liberty Mutual in partnership with CPWR, the award includes a $15,000 cash prize for the winning individual or organization. One or more honorable mentions may also be selected. The submission deadline for the 2022 Liberty Mutual Safety Innovation Award is February 28.

Winning the 2021 grand prize was Anchor Thread from Ajustco (pictured above), which workers attach to concrete form work pre-pour; it becomes a permanent attachment point in the superstructure that can be used in multiple ways to improve safety and for other purposes.
