In Memoriam: Benjamin R. Rechter of Rogers Group Inc.

AsphaltPro was saddened to learn of Benjamin R. Rechter’s passing. He was one of the third-generation owners of Rogers Group Inc., a company established by his grandfather in 1908 that has grown to the largest privately held aggregates company in the United States today, according to NSSGA.

With great respect, we recognize the passing of Benjamin R. Rechter. A longtime resident of Nashville, Mr. Rechter was one of the 3rd generation owners of Rogers Group, Inc. – a family business established by his grandfather in 1908 that has grown to the largest privately held aggregates company in the U.S. today.  

For almost 50 years, Rechter was an integral part of the fabric of the Nashville community. He served on many boards, working to improve his community and the lives of those around him.
