MAGNA™, a Terex brand, made its Hillhead debut in June, exhibiting its MT400C large cone crusher and MT6S heavy‑duty scalping screen. The MT6S has been engineered for high‑volume materials processing across quarrying, mining, construction and demolition debris, topsoil, recycling, sand, gravel, coal, ore and aggregate applications. The mobile scalping screen offers a throughput of up to 800 tonnes per hour, with the flexibility to be fed by a tracked crusher, shovel or excavator.
At the heart of the MT6S is a 20-foot by 6-foot top deck screen and an 18-foot by 6-foot bottom deck, mounted in a modular screen box configuration. Hydraulic adjustment allows the screen angle to be set between 14–18°, while the discharge end can be raised by 600 mm to simplify media access and changes. All stockpiling conveyors feature hydraulic angle adjustment and extending head sections to maximize discharge height and stockpile capacity.
