The specific book a spokesperson recommended for work in hot asphalt paving conditions was the BOA Durablend Edge. It is a waterproof workboot. Built tough with heat, chemical, abrasion and slip-resistant Carbo-Tec rubber outsoles and an ergonomic alloy safety toe that meets ASTM standards, the boot keeps feet protected and comfortable, according to the manufacturer.
