Eriez Promotes Dan Zimmerman, Releases Feeder Design Paper

Eriez®, Erie, Pennsylvania, announced the promotion of Dan Zimmerman to general manager of Eriez-USA. In this role, Zimmerman has full responsibility for leading the company’s U.S.-based business, including overall performance, commercial and financial execution, manufacturing, and supply chain management.

Additionally, Eriez released in July a new technical paper identifying poorly designed hopper transitions as one of the most common—and frequently overlooked—causes of underperformance in vibratory feeding systems. Titled “Optimising Hopper Transitions: Design Guidelines for Maximum Hopper-to-Feeder Performance,” the paper presents practical engineering parameters to help processors achieve consistent material flow, protect equipment, and realize the full rated capacity of vibratory feeders across a wide range of bulk handling applications. It is authored by Clay O’Dana, Eriez global product manager-vibratory.
