DECKED Launches Dad Time Off Campaign for Working Fathers
BY AsphaltPro Staff
DECKED, a U.S.-based manufacturer of truck storage and organization systems, has introduced its new Dad Time Off (DTO) campaign ahead of Father’s Day. The initiative invites nominations for working fathers who could use a paid day off to spend time with their children. Through the DTO campaign, DECKED will reimburse one day’s wages for 100 selected dads.
The company said the program aims to ease the financial pressure many fathers face when choosing between work obligations and family commitments. “We know the moments that matter most often come at a cost,” said Bridget Noonan, senior brand director at DECKED. “So, for at least one day, we want to eliminate that tough choice for dads, allowing them to get after it and create memorable moments with their family.”
The campaign follows a DECKED-commissioned survey of more than 1,000 U.S. fathers, which found that 65% had missed a significant event or activity with their children due to work. Additionally, 43% reported feeling financial strain when taking time off to be with family. Sixty percent indicated that more PTO or flexible work schedules would help them spend additional time with their kids.
Nominations for the DTO program can be submitted at decked.com/DTO. Submissions are open to both self-nominations and nominations from others. Selected participants will receive compensation equivalent to one day’s pay.
Founded in 2014, DECKED operates manufacturing facilities in Defiance, Ohio, and St. George, Utah, with headquarters in Ketchum, Idaho. The company produces storage systems aimed at tradespeople and others who rely on their vehicles for work and recreation.
